DAY 01 : WAMENA – ANGGURUK
Leave
Wamena for Angguruk by special charter missionary
flight. Upon arrival at Angguruk airport directly by
walk to the mission guest house. Afternoon visit the
surrounding. Lunch and dinner are provided.
DAY 02 : ANGGURUK – HELARIKI
After
breakfast the adventure begun. Trekking down the
valley for 6 hours to Helariki, together with the
porters through the dense rain forest. Lunch
provided before noon and arrive at Helariki. Dinner
and overnight stay at local house.
DAY 03 : HELARIKI – MEMBAHAM
The
trekking continue going up and down for 7 hours
through the footpath under the dense rain forest,
passing the old bridge. Lunch served in the river
bank then proceed to Membaham village where you will
stay overnight.
DAY 04 : MEMBAHAM – TELAMBELA
Breakfast at local house, then continue to Telambela
for 6-7 hours, seasoned guide will leads you on the
same path. Lunch served at the small river.
Telambela invite you to visit their houses. Dinner
and overnight at local house.
DAY 05 : TELAMBELA
After
breakfast you will enjoy the traditional
performance, showing the real culture of Yali's
Manners and customs on how they kill the pig with
their amazing traditional way. Lunch and dinner
served as well. Overnight at local house.
DAY 06 : TELAMBELA – PEMOHON AND
SERAKASI
Trekking
up and down the hill for a whole day to SERKASI
village for 7 hours, stop at PEMOHON village for
lunch. Then proceed to Serkasi
for dinner and overnight at local house. Good chance
to know more about Yali's culture.
DAY 07 : SERKASI – KORASEK – WAMENA
Early
breakfast, 2 hours hike down to KORASEK village to
board the charter flight return to Wamena. Lunch
provided at the hotel. |
